Returns Policy

This Returns Policy covers both physical hardware and digital firmware. Please read carefully before purchasing.

1. Policy Scope & Right to Update

This Returns Policy covers both physical hardware and digital firmware. By purchasing or using ZeroTrace products, you agree to the latest version of this Policy. ZeroTrace reserves the right to change this Policy at any time, with changes effective immediately upon posting.

2. No Returns Policy (Physical Hardware Default)

ZeroTrace does not accept returns on physical hardware except where required by law. Every device is tested before shipment. You acknowledge you are purchasing a non-returnable item unless otherwise mandated in your jurisdiction.

3. Quality Assurance

All hardware is subject to rigorous hardware and firmware testing before shipment, including security protocol validation.

4. Limited Warranty (Hardware)

Hardware includes a limited 7-day warranty for manufacturing defects. This does not cover damage due to misuse, user error, water/liquid, or unauthorized modification.

5. Defective Hardware Process

If hardware is defective, contact support within the warranty period, including detailed description and photo/video evidence. If approved, we may offer repair, replacement, or refund at our sole discretion.

6. Firmware & Software on Physical Devices

The no-returns policy applies to hardware only. Ongoing firmware updates and software support are provided for eligible hardware.

7. No Returns or Refunds on Digital Firmware

All sales of ZeroTrace digital firmware are final. Due to the nature of digital goods and instant delivery, no returns or refunds are accepted after purchase or activation, except as required by law.

8. Device-Bound Licensing (Digital)

Firmware licenses are cryptographically bound to a single device and are not transferable, resalable, or usable on other devices. Attempting to bypass these restrictions voids all rights to support or refund.

9. Activation Issues & Secure Re-Activation

For activation issues or device changes, contact support with proof of purchase and evidence of hardware change. We may assist with re-activation at our discretion.

10. Limited Warranty (Digital)

Digital firmware is provided 'as is.' We will correct critical bugs or activation errors at no extra cost during the warranty period. Issues from user modification or unsupported hardware are not covered.

12. Returns & Refunds (European Union / EEA)

  • Physical Hardware: You may have a 14-day withdrawal right under EU law for most consumer goods, with certain exceptions.
  • Digital Firmware: By purchasing and activating, you expressly consent to immediate delivery and waive your statutory withdrawal right, as permitted by law.
  • Exclusions: Custom/security hardware, tampered seals, or updated/used/damaged hardware may not be eligible.
  • Process: If eligible, contact us within 14 days and return unused hardware at your expense in original packaging.
  • Restocking/Inspection: A restocking fee up to 20% may apply for missing/damaged items or used products.

13. Returns & Refunds (United States)

  • General: No right of return unless required by law. Warranty claims for physical defects follow our global policy. You are responsible for all shipping/handling.
  • Digital: No refunds after activation.
  • Exceptions: Some states may grant more consumer rights. Provide legal proof if seeking an exception.
  • Non-Refundable: Shipping, handling, and payment processing fees are never refundable.

14. Other Countries/Regions

No returns or refunds unless required by local law. If you believe you are eligible, contact support with legal proof.

15. Policy Changes & Reservation of Rights

ZeroTrace reserves the right to change this Returns Policy at any time, with or without notice. Changes apply to all purchases made after the effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
