The Story Behind ZeroTrace
Every great product starts with a problem that needs solving
One Person, One Vision
Fourier (Founder & Lead Developer)
I’m a 16-year-old cybersecurity researcher and developer focused on creating practical tools for real-world security challenges. Since my early teens, I’ve been diving into low-level programming, reverse engineering, and offensive security to help penetration testers and red teams work smarter.
ZeroTrace started out as a keystroke injection tool born from frustration with existing options that were too expensive, limited, or complicated. But today, it’s grown into a versatile platform tackling a wide range of offensive USB capabilities and I’m actively working on expanding it further by developing more custom firmwares.
Every line of code, design, and feature is built with reliability and usability in mind to empower security professionals with the tools they actually need.

Our Journey
From concept to community
The Beginning
ZeroTrace started as a personal project fueled by frustration with existing keystroke injection tools that were either too expensive, limited, or overly complex. The goal was clear: build a simpler, more reliable tool tailored for everyday security testing.
First Release
Released the first version of the ZeroTrace HID device, featuring basic keystroke injection combined with WiFi capabilities and the ability to execute custom scripts. This initial launch marked the transition from concept to a practical offensive USB toolkit.
Expanded Functionality
Added support for a wider range of attack vectors beyond keystroke injection, including payload delivery and network reconnaissance, broadening ZeroTrace’s usefulness for penetration testers and red teams.
Firmware Development
Began development of multiple custom firmwares to enhance modularity and flexibility, allowing users to tailor the device to specific security testing scenarios with ease.
Community and Growth
Continuously refining ZeroTrace based on feedback from security professionals and expanding its capabilities to stay ahead in the fast-evolving field of offensive security.
Our Volunteer Team
