Genuine Espressif ESP32-S3 modules pre-flashed with ZeroTrace firmware, with the full regional certification matrix (CE, FCC, IC, KCC, SRRC, TELEC, MIC, NCC, ANATEL, BQB, Wi-Fi) for PCB-antenna and external-antenna variants.

1. ESP32-S3 Firmware Sales & Certifications

ZeroTrace ships genuine Espressif ESP32-S3 modules with custom firmware, ready for direct integration into your project. All modules carry full regional certifications for legal compliance and peace of mind.

2. Supported Modules

ZeroTrace hardware is built on the Espressif ESP32-S3 platform. The radio sub-system carries the manufacturer's certifications listed below, which are inherited by the assembled product. ZeroTrace firmware does not alter the radio parameters, antenna configuration, or transmit power of the underlying module.

Three module variants are stocked depending on the product line:

  • ESP32-S3-WROOM-1 — full-size module with PCB antenna
  • ESP32-S3-WROOM-1U — full-size module with external IPEX/U.FL antenna connector
  • ESP32-S3-MINI-1 — compact module with PCB antenna

Each module is shipped pre-flashed with the firmware ordered. Manufacturer test reports and certificates are linked in the matrix below.

A dash (—) means Espressif has not published a certificate for that variant in that region. The module may still be usable there under a different scheme (host-product certification) — contact us before bulk-ordering for a region with gaps.

4. Compliance & Legal

  • Modules are certified and legally importable in the regions listed above.
  • Certificates are issued by Espressif and their authorised laboratories.
  • The ZeroTrace firmware does not alter the radio parameters, antenna configuration, or transmit power of the module; the manufacturer's conformity assessment therefore continues to apply.
  • For the WROOM-1U variant, attaching a non-certified external antenna can invalidate the manufacturer's conformity. Only use the antenna shipped with the module or another antenna of equivalent gain and pattern certified for the target region.
  • Responsibility for local compliance when modifying or further integrating the firmware lies with the buyer.
