What it summarizes
Across a survey, Insights rolls the raw captures into readable totals and breakdowns, for example:
- Networks by band, how much is on 5 GHz vs. 2.4 GHz
- Security mix, open / WEP / WPA2 / WPA3 / OWE, and how much is exposed
- Wi-Fi generations, the Wi-Fi 4/5/6/6E/7 spread
- Device types, the breakdown of Bluetooth devices by class
- Trackers & privacy flags, what was flagged and how often
- Coverage, how much you saw and where
Why it's useful
- A survey at a glance, turn a long list into a few numbers you can act on.
- Comparisons, is this site more or less exposed than the last one?
- Reporting, the summary is what goes into an assessment write-up, the counts that matter, not thousands of rows.
Use the live view while you're capturing; use Insights when you stop, to understand what you found.
