ZeroTrace AirLeak Pro
Storage
The microSD slot for logs and packet captures
AirLeak Pro has a microSD slot for on-board storage, removable, so you can pull the card and read it on a computer.
The card
| Item | Recommendation |
|---|---|
| Type | microSD (TF) |
| Format | FAT32 |
| Capacity | Up to ~32 GB recommended |
| Detection | The slot has card-detect, so the unit knows when a card is present |
Use a reputable card. Format it FAT32 before first use, and seat it until it clicks.
What lands on the card
- Packet captures, when you run the capture-oriented Ops (raw Wi-Fi capture, WPA handshake capture), the frames are saved as standard
.pcapfiles you can open in Wireshark. - Files, you can browse, read, and manage the card from the app's file browser, and format it there too.
Survey exports live in the app
Your mapped drive data and its WiGLE-compatible CSV export are handled in the app's Drive workflow, that's the path for the survey log itself. The microSD is primarily for packet captures and file management.
Troubleshooting
| Symptom | Fix |
|---|---|
| Card not detected | Reseat it; confirm it's FAT32 and not write-protected. Try a different ≤ 32 GB card. |
| Captures not saved | Confirm a card is inserted and has free space; a full card stops new writes. |
| Can't read on a PC | Make sure the card was ejected cleanly; re-insert and check in the app's file browser. |
